Day 19: Together
For today's devotional, I wanted to do something a little different. Instead of giving a long word, I feel we need to take time to intentionally pray for one another.
This new year has started out weird and uncertain. There are many questions I have, prayers I've prayed, and desires in my heart that I have not heard from the Lord on. And I know I am not the only one going through something right now.
The Lord has been teaching me in this month that is flying by quickly, that I must seek Him with all my heart. He is showing me how He is deeply mending areas of my heart and life that I didn't even realize was broken. He is teaching me to trust-- fully and completely-- again. He is showing me how to love without condition. And it's been hard.
We are all dealing with different things. And I think we can all admit that it can be really hard sometimes. But the beauty of being God's children is that not only does our help come from the Lord and the Holy Spirit encourages us, but God has also given us so many brothers and sisters in Him to fight through the battles with us.
So let's be intentional today. Let's be intentional in praying for and with one another. Let's be intentional with being vulnerable with one another. Let's be intentional in togetherness.
I would love to pray with you about whatever you are going through right now as well as what the Lord is teaching you in this season. Please comment below, send an e-mail, text, call, DM, however you need to contact me to let me know how I can be intentionally praying with and for you this week.
As many say, "no man is an island." We don't have to do this alone.
"Therefore encourage one another and build each other up..."
